Sun Xiaokang told the editor that as part of the transportation system, people rarely interact with the entire transportation system in the current environment, and more are passive recipients of information. However, if the interactive system is made bidirectional, the pedestrian interacts with the traffic system, and the human behavior is combined with the actual road conditions to form information feedback into the system, then the system will manage the traffic mode to intelligently solve the traffic problem. .
They proposed a modular, functional solution for pedestrian red light, unclear nighttime zebra crossings, and inconspicuous indications of traffic lights in some areas:
Using solar power, LED lights are placed on the sidewalks to capture pedestrian movements and monitor road conditions as the pedestrians are on the sidewalk. If a flying car approaches the sidewalk, even if it is a green light, a color change reminder will appear on the sidewalk to let the pedestrian notice the potential danger.
Sun Xiaokang gave an example. For example, when the traffic light turns red, if someone turns red, the LED beam on the sidewalk will radiate dynamically, making him the focus of this area. This is also the use of the characteristics of environmental psychology, allowing people to hide their defects in the public, so as to better regulate their behavior.
The advantage of this transportation system is that it is powered by solar energy, and it is not necessary to use a power supply network or an information platform, and relatively independent modules can interact with the surrounding environment through the means of object connection. Because it is a modular product, it is easy to lay and can reduce the construction cost. The system can also be applied to other different scenarios, such as exhibitions, plazas, parks, parking lots, etc., to achieve the interaction between people and the environment.
However, Zhou also admitted that the system is costly and popular.
